Powerful Techniques You Can Apply at Home to Remove Bleach Stains

Bleach stains are formidable, especially on colored clothing and fabrics, as bleach discolors the fibers and leaves light marks that are difficult to recover. Although it’s impossible to restore the original color, there are two techniques that can effectively reduce or hide these stains at home.

1. Use White Vinegar to Neutralize the Bleach and Reduce the Stain
If the bleach stain is recent, one of the first steps is to neutralize any remaining bleach and lessen the stain. White vinegar is a mild acid that can stop the bleach reaction on the fabric, preventing further discoloration.
Instructions:
• Rinse Immediately: If you accidentally splash bleach, immediately rinse the affected area with cold water to remove any excess product.
• Apply White Vinegar: Dip a clean cloth in white vinegar and gently dab the stain. This will help neutralize the bleach and reduce the stain’s impact.
• Rinse Again: After applying the vinegar, rinse the fabric thoroughly with cold water, then let it dry.
Limitations:
This method won’t restore the original color, but it can reduce the stain’s severity and prevent it from becoming more visible.

2. Dye or Color the Stain to Conceal It
