GARLIC BUTTER STEAK AND POTATOES 🥩🥔

For the garlic butter sauce:

4 tablespoons unsalted butter 4 cloves garlic, minced 1 teaspoon fresh thyme or parsley, chopped 1 teaspoon chili flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Potatoes:

In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Toss the halved potatoes with garlic powder, salt, pepper, and thyme. Add to the skillet. Cook for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown and tender. Remove and set aside.

  1. Cook the Steak:

Season steak cubes with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika. In the same skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over high heat. Add the steak pieces in a single layer and sear for 2-3 minutes per side until browned (adjust cook time based on your preferred doneness). Remove and set aside.

  1. Make the Garlic Butter Sauce:

Lower the heat to medium and melt butter in the skillet. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in fresh thyme and chili flakes, if using.

  1. Combine Everything:

Return the cooked potatoes and steak to the skillet. Toss well in the garlic butter sauce to coat evenly. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, letting the flavors meld together.

  1. Serve:

Garnish with fresh parsley, extra thyme, or grated Parmesan cheese (optional). Serve hot and enjoy! This recipe serves 4 and pairs well with a side salad or roasted vegetables.
