With just a few simple ingredients, you can make the crispiest, most delicious chicken strips right in your own kitchen!

Ingredients:

  • 2 chicken fillets
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 cloves of garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (or panko for extra crunch)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika (optional, for extra flavor)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon chili powder (optional, for a spicy kick)
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano or thyme (optional)
  • Oil for frying (vegetable oil, canola oil, or peanut oil)

Instructions:

Step 1: Prepare the Chicken

  1. Wash and pat dry the chicken fillets.
  2. Cut them into evenly sized strips, about 1 inch wide. This ensures they cook evenly.
  3. Place the chicken strips in a bowl and season them with salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and minced garlic. Mix well to coat the chicken evenly. Let it marinate for at least 15–30 minutes to enhance the flavor.

Step 2: Prepare the Breading Stations

  1. In one bowl, whisk the eggs until smooth.
  2. In another bowl, add the flour and season it with a little salt and pepper.
  3. In a third bowl, add the breadcrumbs (or panko) and mix with dried herbs for extra flavor.
