Golden, flaky, cheesy, and irresistible—these puff pastry twists are a game-changing appetizer that’s both quick and impressive. Made with just a few ingredients, they’re perfect for last-minute gatherings, brunches, or as a delicious snack. 🧀 Ingredients:
- 2 sheets (400 g each) of puff pastry, thawed if frozen
- 3 to 4 teaspoons of mustard (Dijon, yellow, or honey mustard – your choice)
- 150 g hard mozzarella cheese, grated or thinly sliced
- Optional add-ins:
- Thin slices of ham, pepperoni, or salami
- Chopped herbs (parsley, thyme, oregano)
- Egg wash (1 egg + 1 tbsp water)
- Sesame seeds or coarse salt for topping
👩🍳 Instructions:
1. Preheat & Prepare
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Roll Out the Puff Pastry
- Lightly flour your surface and roll out each pastry sheet just a bit to smooth out any folds.
- Spread 1.5 to 2 teaspoons of mustard evenly across one of the pastry sheets.
