Ingredients
For the Beef Filling:
- 1 lb (450g) ground beef (80/20 blend for best flavor)
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp yellow mustard (optional, for added flavor)
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil or butter (for cooking the beef)
For the Sandwich:
- 8 slices of thick-cut white or sourdough bread
- 8 slices of your favorite cheese (cheddar, Swiss, Monterey Jack, or a blend)
- 4 tbsp butter (softened, for spreading)
- Pickles or grilled onions (optional but recommended for extra flavor)
- Mayonnaise or burger sauce (optional for spreading inside)
