🥛 Ingredients
- 1 liter of whole milk (fresh or pasteurized)
- 1 egg yolk
- 2 tablespoons of lemon juice or white vinegar
Optional: a pinch of salt for extra flavor.
🍳 Instructions
1. Heat the milk
Pour the milk into a large saucepan and place it over medium heat. Warm it up gently until it’s hot but not boiling — around 85°C (185°F) if you have a thermometer. Stir occasionally to prevent the milk from burning at the bottom.
